Karen and Darrell here. Well, it has come to this. Us asking for some help. We just need a little bit more help.

I had 3 strokes in June and Darrell followed with his own in November. I paid the rent and have less than$1000 left. We are moving in Aug, but next month I will be short on rent. State assistance takes a long time; we have gotten medical, food, personal care, and utility assistance. Housing assistance is tricky. We are on waiting lists for housing. Section 8 is closed. Now we are falling short on rent. We are trying to hold on to this place until July. I do not want to be evicted and they won't let us out of the lease. Anything you can do will help and is very much appreciated.
