Kai Frame is a good friend to many in our township. He supports our community by representing in Football, and is well known in the social sector. He is engaged to my good friend Jessica with 6 children. Hallee, Charlie, Archie, Chelsea, Brayden and Jack. Kai has always worked hard- REALLY hard, to supply for his family, as has his beautiful partner Jess.
Recently, Kai was diagnosed with Liver cancer. It was a massive blow to the whole family- AND Community, to myself also as I class this whole family as my own!
Im not sure if anyone knows how expensive getting sick can be.. but this is only the start. Kai has had to travel to Canberra, already MULTIPLE times and pay for multiple scans and tests (some are $800, alone!) take time off work- as does Jess, to take him. Accommodation, food, fuel, school fees for the little ones, and after the surgery or treatment Kai will need at least two months off work, and Jess will need to take some time to care and support him also. Kai has also been put into a high protein diet consisting of organic fruit and veg and high quality meats and fish with minimal fat content (that itself is hard on the hip pocket! Since this diagnosis Kai’s willingness to get healthy and change his whole mindset and attitude toward life has changed immensely- He has ONE GOAL to kick now, and that is to get better and live for his family!! Let’s support Jess and Kai in getting this big guy better and help them on their way to recovery.. because let’s face it, money doesn’t come from no where and the bills don’t stop when someone gets sick unfortunately!! SHOW SOME LOVE!! ❤️
