Keep Julian and Colin Rooted in NYC

Hey! My name is Julian. Some of you may know me by only my Instagram handle and that's ok. I'm in need of your help.

My brother, Colin, and I are trying to raise some funds to aid with moving into a new spot sometime next month. We are currently not living together and are trying to kickstart a new chapter in our lives where we can comfortably find a place that keeps us in the community we want to exist/operate in, especially here in New York. Colin and I grew up together in Staten Island in the same room until I moved out into Manhattan, and for years we were separated. Up until recently, we didn't really hang out or keep in touch all that often, but now we are best friends that are constantly in each other's lives and are just trying to start fresh and exist in a place where we can kickstart our creative endeavors together. We are both creative and passionate about culture and art in its many forms and believe that with a place that we can call home together, that passion and creativity will be fostered in a way that will only bring us more opportunity to shoot for both the moon and the stars.

We are only asking for assistance in the moving process. We are both working freelance/contract work, so trying to find a place has not been an easy feat. We have support from our family, but they are only able to help out so much. Today's economy and society have absolutely affected our ability to do this on our own, so we are humbly asking that you help us find our footing as we transition into something new for ourselves. We are just two brothers trying to make it out here in the wildest city on earth. We refuse to leave despite the large influx of transplants moving in and driving up the price of rent. We are rooted here. We are here to stay. Please help us stay planted in the city that formed us into the people we are today so that we can continue to contribute to the communities and places that held us close.
