John Stefanik's Fight for more TIME

Our dad is in a battle with cancer to have more time with his family. 2024 hasn’t been so great. Our dad battled his 2nd round of lung cancer with chemo and radiation which he completed in April. Mid June he found out he had brain cancer. He started radiation and completed it only to find out in July the cancer moved to the Spine. We recently found out the cancer is not in the bone its worse because it is in the fluid which means the tumors can flow freely to the brain and back to spine.

The doctor gave us 2 options to attack the cancer. Neither of them will give us the outcome we want.

Option 1: Is to do proton therapy.(Proton therapy is an advanced form of radiation therapy that uses a beam of protons to precisely target tumors, most often in the treatment of cancer. This precision reduces damage to healthy tissue near the tumor and potentially allows for higher, more effective doses of radiation.) this would be done in Somerset County and requires him to stay at a hotel for 2-3 weeks. This option would hopefully give him 8-12 months with us.

Option 2: would be to treat him locally with radiation and that would give him 2-3 months with us.

Neither option is ideal but we are trying for option 1, so our dad can have more time with us and his grandsons. With that said my dad will need financial help with hotel stay, meals and medical bills and any other expenses as he goes through this journey. Any help is greatly appreciated.
