Keep Jill Townsend's Family Housed and Hopeful

Hello my name is Jill Townsend. I am a registered nurse currently living in VA. I just moved here. I have 3 beautiful children and a wonderful husband. I am making this account because when we moved we spent all of our savings to move and now we have found we have an unexpected financial crisis that we were not prepared for. My husband lost his job on July of 2023 and has not been able to find employment. In NC he was working as a handyman doing anything he could to help out however since we moved to VA work for him has been scarce. I have been working 50 hours a week trying to keep up but just feel like it is 2 steps forward and then 10 steps back. We just need some help to get back on our feet. So if you could find it in your heart to help I would be forever grateful. I hate even having to do this but I fear if I don’t we may be homeless very soon.
