Keep Jess Afloat During Disability Review and Beyond

Hi, my name is Jess.

I’m reaching out because I’m currently in a tough situation and could use a little help.

Recently, my FMLA at work ran out, and although I’m approved for short-term disability through July, my employer stopped my payments while my claim is under review. It’s been almost a month now without any income, and while I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and manage my expenses, it’s been really challenging to cover my basic needs like rent, utilities, and groceries.

I’ve always worked hard to build a stable life, and asking for help is not easy for me. But right now, anything — even just sharing this — would mean the world. All donations will go directly to help me to stay afloat until my claim is settled and I can get back on my feet. The amount I'm seeking will give me the ability to take the full 6 months regardless of how the claim goes.
