Hello All, 

This is little Jerry Garcia Boutchard(aka JGB). He was a bait dog- or survived a lot of fights trying to get food-(10 fresh scars)left for dead. Jerry has heartworm disease and a slew of other bad parasitic problems, the vet had never seen such advanced Heartworm( i looked in the microscope- they were having a party in his blood...)

He’s a kind and gentle soul that loves cats and just a place to lay down. I will be engaging in a fight to keep him with my landlord, but in the meantime we have started a very aggressive and serious set of treatments to save him.

A lot of you have reached out to me to ask how you can help with the humanitarian disaster relief in Puerto Rico. I am running Team Juliet- focused upon diesel and water to orphanages in elderly homes in the Santurce area/old San Juan. With alot of your help we saved 100s of lives and made a big impact for a lot of people.

In any case, I really appreciate any donations y'all want to make towards Jerry's health. We have raised close to $1mm for hurricane relief and my work with elderly homes is coming to a close. After about $800 of consultations and initial treatment, the tab is gonna be around $3000 to save my dog.

He seems strong and he is very brave and he’s not gonna die on my watch but if anybody wants to chip in 20 to 100 bucks to help with his costs I would appreciate it. As some of you know it came as I figured out that I had a heart condition of my own(it’s being treated, all good!). Jerry and i are helping each other along and I wanted to let you all know I appreciate you and let’s save this dog and give him the most kickass life ever!

I also know alot of you on this list would rather help dogs than humans so I included you in this group and copied and pasted some of you from a dog group i was in years ago. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate all your donations to PR and disaster relief in my and others whatsapp groups.

Jerry has some interests- he likes all animals(he’s lovey-boys), he has a deep desire to visit theGalapagos islands(don’t ask me) he somehow loves the Grateful Dead, but his favorite song is “shake, shake, shake” but KC Sunshine band. But he REALLY wants to have sex before(if his balls are cut off). So working on that.
