My name is Adam Robinson, and each year I raise funds to support my father, Jeffrey Robinson. Jeffrey has lived with Multiple Sclerosis since the young age of 24. Before his illness progressed, he worked as a registered nurse at Fresno Community Hospital, where he cared for others with dedication and compassion until he was forced to retire at 35.
My dad was able to live independently for many years, but in 2016, it became necessary for him to move into assisted living. He has now been at Golden Life Haven in Clovis, CA for several years, and it has truly become his home. Their staff provides exceptional care, treats him like family, and has helped reduce his emergency hospital visits significantly. We are incredibly grateful for the stability, safety, and kindness they give him every single day.
Jeffrey remains in good health and spirits and has built strong relationships with his caregivers. Golden Life Haven continues to be the best possible place for him — a place where he is respected, understood, and genuinely cared for.
However, the cost of assisted living continues to rise. Due to a recent rent increase and the ongoing need for medical and personal supplies, we rely on this yearly fundraiser now more than ever. My father cannot remain in his assisted living home without the support of GoFundMe donations. Every contribution directly supplements his rent and covers essential monthly expenses, allowing him to live comfortably and with dignity.
If you've spent time with Jeff, you'll be happy to know he remains warm, funny, and full of heart. Your generosity helps keep him in the environment where he thrives, surrounded by people who truly care about him.
100% of all donations go directly toward Jeffrey's rent and care needs.
From the bottom of our hearts, my father and I thank each person who takes the time to read, share, or donate. Your support means more than you know, and we are deeply grateful for your help in keeping him safe, supported, and at home at Golden Life Haven.
