KEEP JCEPS FREE ONLINE AND OPEN-ACCESS!

The Journal for Critical Education Policy Studies (JCEPS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed international scholarly journal. It costs around $1800USD - £1500 per year - to run, and right now is funded by one benefactor (the Chief Editor) who can no longer (through work retirement) financially support the journal.

Please donate, if you can, to keep JCEPS free and open access, just as many did last year!

JCEPS is especially important for scholars in the Global South, new scholars, and leftist scholars more broadly. For 21 years now, JCEPS has published articles that critique global, national, neo-liberal, neo-conservative, New Labour, Third Way, postmodernist and other analyses of policy developments, as well as those that attempt to report on, analyse and develop Socialist/ Marxist transformative policy for schooling and education from a number of Radical Left perspectives. JCEPS also addresses issues of social class, ‘race’, gender, sexual orientation, disability and capital/ism; critical pedagogies, new public managerialism and academic/ non-academic labour, and empowerment/ disempowerment- and also, developments in Marxist analysis of social, economic, education policy.

The fees/ costs of running JCEPS include online domain hosting, administrating, updating website, final copy-editing, uploading, and the general website maintenance.
