Hi everyone,
This is Jax. He is currently at the Loma Linda Animal Hospital due to unexpected illnesses that he got in December. We are so distraught to see our healthy and active doggy so weak and ill. As you can see in the picture above he was always smiling and super active and playful. When we initially took him for his examination he was diagnosed with pancreatitis, gastrointestinal issues, and aspiration pneumonia at Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands. He has been ill for about a month now and has not yet recovered. We have been tirelessly trying to get him well but not having sufficient money to get the medical care that he needs has been so heartbreaking. I would be so grateful to receive any amount of donation to pay for his current and future medical expenses. If you’re only able to share that would be great or even just a prayer, I would greatly appreciate it. Jax needs to stay at the hospital so he can remain hydrated as he has an extremely difficult time drinking water and has not ate for about 3 weeks. The mega esophagus issue as well as the pancreatitis do not allow for him to keep water or food in his stomach and is throwing up constantly. The doctor said that the esophagus does not close when he does try to drink therefore causing the liquids to not digest and throws up. He needs to be connected to IV fluids that keep him hydrated with nutrients, antibiotics and medicine to address his stomach/ digestive issues. He is so close to recovery but will have difficulty overcoming his illnesses if he does not remain hydrated until he is well from the mega esophagus issue. Once that is cured he can begin to start eating. We have so much hope in the veterinarians and faith that Jax will overcome this and be the great ball of energy that he was. We miss the love, warmth and immeasurable energy that he brings into our lives. Thank you so much for your support and thank you for any amount of donations.
