My dear friend Jaelon is a talented and joyful person who's admirably faced and overcome a variety of challenges, all while working to help others in the community. As a talented and well-known drag queen, Saiyohni Gray, in the San Francisco community. Ms. Gray is the current reigning Queen of Hearts in the Grand Ducal Council of San Francisco, and he is the co-reigning Miss Castro Country Club. Jaelon's work with the Castro Country Club—one of the nations oldest queer recovery community centers—gives his life real meaning and purpose. He has been a joyful member of the Bay Area recovery community, and a valued friend, confidant and mentor to so many. It's now time for us to step up for him.

Jaelon is currently employed full-time as a security officer, and while he's doing everything in his power to make ends meet, his recent health challenges have caused him to miss work and fall behind on rent. Jaelon is actively working with a financial advisor to create a budget and plan for the future, but immediate assistance is needed to help him avoid eviction and the loss of his rent subsidy, which would further destabilize his situation.

Jaelon’s situation is urgent. He has already been served a 30-day notice, which has now expired. The property management company has agreed to work with him if he can come up with the necessary funds to negotiate once the unlawful detainer is received.
