Keep it REEL ask for help. HELP me HELP them

PLEASE HELP AND DONATE. PLEASE HELP US HELP OUR GRANDCHILDREN AND PAY FOR THE NUMEROUS COSTS THE FAMILY HAS BEEN LEFT WITH AFTER THIS HEARTBREAKING TRAGEDY.

My son, Jesse Colliss, took his life on May 19th with a firearm at the age of 29. He was suffering from depression and he also suffered from addictions.

Although Jesse's time with us was short, he touched many lives and was loved by so many. Jesse was born in Prince George, BC on February 23rd, 1993 and he graduated from PGSS in 2011. Jesse became a Red Seal Welder and made Mackenzie home in 2018. A devoted father with an infectious smile, generous nature, and a heart of gold. Jesse's personality lit up the room. Friendly, talkative, always a jokester. He loved making people smile and laugh. He would be the first to give you the gears if you fell, but also the first to extend a hand and pick you back up. He was a great listener, wise for his years, sensitive and sweet with a sometimes gruff exterior. He said it like it was, appropriate or not. He was passionate about his children and family. He loved motorcycles, reef tanks, camping, fishing, guns and being outdoors with nature.

Jesse left behind 4 young children. He was engaged to be married and he worked hard to support both of his families. Jesse had much more debt than assets. This campaign will help my grandchildren with future education and councelling.

Aside from helping my family, I also want to help others. I am promoting mental health awareness, awareness to addictions and suicide prevention. It's my attempt to help stop the stigma, and encourage those suffering to ask for help.

10% of all money raised will go to charity, specifically, Foundry Prince George, https://foundrybc.ca/location/princegeorge/ , a non profit helping youth aged 12 - 24 with mental health, addictions and suicide prevention, as well as Mackenzie Councelling Services, https://www.mackenziecounselling.ca/ , a non profit offering free councelling services in the small community of Mackenzie, BC, where Jesse lived.

2% of donations will be retained for ongoing mental health awareness, and specifically, Mens Mental Health awareness. I want to help break the stigma. Guys cry..they need to feel comfortable talking about feelings, and confident in asking for help.

This campaign is based around the theme of fishing..Keep it REEL, and ask for help. You can tackle anything. Jesse loved fishing since he was a toddler. He also loved tattoos, and that is why the logo is to resemble one. The logo was drawn and donated by Phil Bartell of Rising Tide Tattoo, in Boulder, Colorado. https://www.instagram.com/phillbartell/?hl=en

The Go Fund Me will be broken up as follows

10% charity
2% for future awareness of mental health
3% Go Fund Me
9% cremation, memorial, legal fees, family needs for the children, a flight to Canada for myself, admin costs.
19% in trust for schooling for daughter of Jesse, aged 6.
19% in trust for schooling for daughter of Jesse, aged 2
19% in trust for schooling for step son of Jesse, age 12
19% in trust for schooling for step son of Jesse, age 10

I am not asking you to donate, I humbly ask for your help in spreading my message.
Please share this campaign with your Facebook friends on your timeline asking your friends to also share. Please share on other social media sites, by emails and WhatsApp.

I want so badly to turn this bad into good. I couldn't save my son, but perhaps I can help one person ask for help, talk about their feelings, or recognize the signs in a friend. Help one family from going through this devastation.

Please help!!!! HELP ME to HELP THEM HELP THEMSELVES !!!

Help me send this SOS to the world.
