As you are aware, the Coronavirus precautions and social distancing recommendations have temporarily caused all events and group at Island Bazaar to be cancelled. This could lead to a devastating financial impact on the store, but really, Shirley, our friend and leader.
Sales will be down or nonexistent. Shirley is already competing with on line sales and struggles to keep our favorite store open. Our groups are not only a fun and social, and musical outlet for all of us who attend, but they are also a financial resource for the store's revenues.
A suggestion has been made to help Shirley and save Island Bazaar, and it goes something like this:
If you attended a group/jam once a week, that's $5. Each week for a month, would then be $20.
If you attended a group twice a week, that would be $10. Each week for a month, that would be $40.
