Impacted By SoCal ICE Raids- Keep Iris's Family Safe
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Nicole and I created this fundraiser to help support my friend Iris and her family. They wish to stay as anonymous as possible.
Iris moved to the United States more than 20 years ago with the hope of building a better life for her family and herself. She is a kind soul who has always believed in community and supporting those in need. Now because of the increase in ICE kidnappings in the IE and the anxiety that has surrounded our community, Iris, a domestic worker, and her husband, a freelance electrician, have been struggling to find consistent work. Each time Iris and her husband leave their home, they worry for the other's safety and are forced to choose between making a living and staying home to ensure they can remain together as a family.
With both of them out of steady work, they are having a hard time finding the means to support their 1 and 6 year old sons and their 8 month old puppy Lexy.
We are hoping that the community can help us raise funds so they can keep their home, feed their babies, and continue to live and thrive in the community they've grown up in. Please help these hardworking and kind individuals in what feels like a hopeless situation.
Funds will go towards: rent, other bills, groceries, diapers, etc.
