Keep Indy Breathing for Ayah!

I am making this fund-raiser after watching my dear friends dog get hit by a car and then fall off a bridge yesterday!.. I was with her daughter Ayah who loves Indy dearly and saw the whole thing.. this is about getting financial support to keep Indy on oxygen while her lungs heal (the oxygen costs $800 ever 12 hours ) but also a little girls view of the world and how people treat each other.. the driver..kept going- leaving me to climb down into the creek and carry the bleeding wet scared Indy out and send Ayah running for help .. Indys lungs were crushed but miraculously that seems to be the worst of her injuries.. she can walk but is being kept still so she can stay on oxygen at moonahs 24 hour care facility and has come out if the shock well and is looking to make a full recovery!

Which is amazing!

But emergency animal care ain't cheap!

The first emergency vet bill was $1500 for X-rays and ultra sounds, plus ambulance fee $300 for her to travel on oxygen.

$2000 first night and now for as long as she needs the oxygen to keep her alive and give her lungs a chance to heal the cost goes up and up. Adding stress to an already trying time.

The family's main income source is thier Food van Bogan Josh and as this happened on a Monday the regular Burton's reserve feast had to be canceled as everyone was too shocked or distressed or still returning from sitting with or waiting for Indy results.

They would not ask for this but I know they would really appreciate any contributions towards keeping Indy breathing.. and I really want to be able to show Ayah how a community can care and support each other.

She told me that yesterday was one of the hardest days of her life. And that all she wants her dog back. I just want her story to have a happier ending!
