Our first issue Z-ONE (www.thezonezine.com/issue/01/) (which was published in May 2020) is the first printed issue of Zone Magazine and it features 80 different artists from all around the world. It started off as a theme-less project, taking whatever shape its viewers imagined, later becoming the result of one year of selected online publications, aiming to represent various artists’ personas through the process of selection itself.
Our new book "The Halcyon Days [A Dialogue Between Isabella Nitto & Luca Baioni]" is out!
As you would expect, it is quite expensive to print and distribute work of art using high quality materials. Up until now, there hasn’t been any submission fee for our online and print publications. I would like to continue the same, and facilitate emerging artists like me, regardless of their financial means, with an opportunity to expose their work to a larger audience, including some known experts of the editorial and publication community. I am also hoping to create an environment for the remuneration of my co-artists in the future.
I would appreciate the opportunity and any of your support towards the continuation of my efforts to keep the independent publication alive and to break the hegemony of large institutions with their “beautiful”, “shareable”, and “attractive” type of artistic perspective towards publications.
