Hi, I’m Veronica Manning, and I’m a Black woman artist in my 50s. I’m creating and self-producing my solo show, The Total Veronica Experience, which is premiering in April as a part of the New York City Fringe Festival! This is an incredible opportunity for me to showcase to play in the biggest theater city in the country!!

This is one of those projects where I’m doing everything myself, which means every cost is coming straight out of my pocket. And if you know anything about how the arts world works, you know artists like me don’t always get the support we deserve.

I’m raising funds to cover production costs like promotion and marketing, set and design elements, travel, rehearsal space, and paying my crew. I want to do this show at a professional level and make sure the people helping me bring it to life are paid fairly. The show is semi-autobiographical and includes so many fun elements like stand up comedy, karaoke, acting, audience participation, and some deeply personal bits.
