“Hold Hunter & Kadin Close: Help Us Fight ALL”

Hello, dear friends, family, and generous supporters,

We’re Marisa and TJ Kahl, reaching out as mom and dad with heavy hearts but endless hope for our 9-month-old son, Hunter. Our sweet, mushy-faced boy is fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a blood cancer made more complex by a genetic mutation, the long hospital stays and travel for doctor visits have left us struggling to keep up with bills at home. We need your help to focus on Hunter’s recovery, be there for his big brother, Kadin, and keep our family together.

Hunter is the most loving baby, with a smile that lights up our world. He loves zooming around in his little toy car, giggling on stroller walks, splashing in his kiddie pool, and playing with Kadin—they’re the best of friends. But ALL, worsened by a genetic mutation that makes his treatment more challenging, has kept Hunter in the hospital for so long, away from Kadin and the joyful moments we cherish. For the next three years, Hunter will be in chemotherapy, fighting to beat this disease, and we’re praying he’ll overcome it and grow strong with Kadin by his side. We also face a 1-hour-and-20-minute drive each way for his doctor visits, adding costs for gas and car maintenance on top of our piling household bills.

We’re raising funds to cover our home expenses—like rent, utilities, and groceries—and the travel costs for these frequent trips to Hunter’s specialists. Your support will let us stay by Hunter’s side, be there for Kadin, and keep our home stable without the stress of overdue bills.
