HOTplate has been around since 2002 as a place to have fun with friends and family, and create art in a relaxing environment. We pride ourselves on having a welcoming space to make (and leave) the mess, and tools to help you be creative, even when you don't think you are. We worked hard to create the best in-studio experience for you, whether that's walk-in creating or during any of our awesome classes. 

But in-studio experiences... you can see where this is going. Covid has forced us to create new ways of offering you art experiences - curbside, at-home, virtual.  We keep trying because we KNOW that creating art relieves stress and just makes life better. It's an awesome screen-buster for kids, and an brain-break for adults. 

We have some pretty amazing customers through this whole thing, and we really and truly appreciate you. <3 And, our landlords have been amazing with rent abatement for a while, and we’ve gotten some outside assistance, but it only goes so far.

But. We are struggling. If we are going to have a prayer of staying open, we need help - and that's where YOU come in! So many of you have asked how you can help. Any money donated goes directly to paying our amazing staff and towards our monthly bills like rent, electricity, and paint. 

There are SO many ways you can help support us - and for most of them, you get to make cool things in the process! We're open for pickups, to-go kits, in-studio daily - Monday-Saturday 11-7, Sunday 12-5.
