Keep Hope Alive for Shelter Dogs

Hope Animal Rescues was founded in November of 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The first 17 dogs in our care had all survived that awful disaster.
Twenty years later, we have remained an advocate for dogs whose chances of survival are slim. We focus our rescue efforts on dogs in animal controls where the clock is ticking on their very lives. Most animal control facilities give them each 7 to 14 days to be reclaimed by an owner or euthanized. Our rescue uses our license to work with these animal control facilities in order to go in and pull who we can. We are not breed-specific or age-restrictive. We go in and open the first kennel holding a dog to be euthanized that day; if the dog is friendly, they live. When we get to our rescue limit for the day, we do our best not to open any more kennels because it breaks our hearts to know we can't save them all, but that is reality for us.
Since COVID, our rescue has suffered losses of revenue. With the economy's uncertain future, our rescue continues to suffer a loss of revenue.
We come to you hoping that you find us worthy of a gift. The size of that gift does not matter; we all do what we can. We have no paid staff from our donations as that is paid yearly by a grant. So, whatever you give is 100% used for the care of the dogs in our rescue. Your gift will help to fund food, vaccines, medical needs and even water for the swimming pools the dogs play in.
We need to make up a loss of $17,000.00 in revenue to bring us back to a safe place financially.
A couple of large donations or several small ones will accomplish this goal.
Please be a part of the journey Hope Animal Rescues began 20 years ago by giving today.
