Keep Hope Alive - at Plymouth Recovery Center

When our son passed away on September 18, 2016 from a drug overdose we knew much more needed to be done for people like him and their loved ones. You see he had been in recovery for two and one half years, he had a great job and girlfriend with their whole lives ahead of them yet he went back just that one time  …  and it killed him. It made us realize how much we have underestimated the physical effects and power of opioid addiction and that we as a community had been fighting this battle so far with the equivalent of BB Guns and Cap Pistols.

In response we started the Plymouth Recovery Center which gives support and tools necessary to enhance substance-free lives to those in the midst of our community’s addictions crisis. Since opening on July 5, 2017 our staff has referred 63 people into immediate treatment when they could not find it for themselves. We have had 5,649 visits to the Center to take advantage of the many programs and peer to peer coaching opportunities we provide for those in addiction as well as their loved ones.

We need your help to continue this vital work. We are the only privately funded comprehensive Center in the State, presenting challenges but also allowing us to provide care in a much more efficient manner while being able to respond directly to the specific needs of our community. Would you please join us in this fight? Please help with your tax deductible donation!
