Keep Homestead Bowl Open

Hello Friends and Fellow Bowlers,
I'm Jim Horan and for those of you that don't know me, the Horan Family has been a part of Bay Area and Santa Clara County bowling since the late 70's. My brother Dennis and I started bowling at Homestead Bowl back in 1979. Back in the late 70's there were 18 bowling centers in Santa Clara County to the best of my memory. Today there are only 6 left that I'm aware of. This request to help Homestead Bowl is due to my passion and concern for the sport of bowling. The Bowling World and Santa Clara County doesn't need to lose another bowling center. I understand money is tight due to the pandemic and the Holidays are right around the corner but even the smallest donations add up. Please help with whatever you can so when our lives return to normal we still have Homestead
Bowl to enjoy for years to come.
Homestead Bowl has been part of the community for 46 years serving Seniors, Youth Bowlers, Special Olympians, League Bowlers, Professional Bowlers, Families, Schools and people looking for a place to meet up with their friends. It's been a place where memories have been made and lifetime friendships have begun.
Greg Malley the owner of Homestead Bowl has been very generous in his support of the bowling community throughout the Bay Area during this pandemic. Just like so many other businesses who need our help, he is struggling to keep the lights on.
These last few months Greg has done all he can to provide income for employees, pay his business insurance, utility bills and property taxes. He's invested in a new patio area and upgrades to the snack bar in order to have safe outdoor dining. He's installed partitions between lanes in order to ensure social distancing. Now with the latest stay at home orders he's reaching the end of his cash reserves and needs our help in order not to close forever.
Let's preserve the Sport of Bowling especially here in Santa Clara County and please help keep Homestead Bowl open!
Sincerely,
Jim Horan
