On December 3rd, Higinio was detained during a routine ICE check-in. Higinio, his wife, and their 2-year-old daughter arrived to this country fleeing violence in their homeland. They filed for asylum and since then, built a new life. Their world was turned upside again when ICE ripped Higinio away from his family during a check-in for their asylum proceedings. Since then, his wife and their 2-year-old daughter have been left alone to fence for their selves.

Funds from this gofundme would go to support the family with immediate basic needs such as rent, food, clothing, transportation, medical expenses, and services within the detention center. Funds will also be used for legal services which are a huge immediate need for the family. The family hopes to receive assistance with their asylum case to stay together safely in this country.
