Hello! My name is Hazel, and I’m a first-year student at Texas Christian University. Coming to TCU has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’ve found a community I love, professors who challenge me, and opportunities that have helped me grow as a leader, a creator, and a student.

However, the financial reality of staying here has become overwhelming. Even with scholarships, campus employment, and careful budgeting, the cost of tuition is still far beyond what I can manage on my own. As a business major, I also have to pay differential tuition, which adds up quickly and has pushed my financial situation to a breaking point.

I’m working hard to stay at TCU because this isn’t just a school to me. I've longed to go to this university since the sixth grade. Here is where I’ve built friendships and discovered the kind of person I want to become. However, without additional support, I may be forced to transfer out simply because I can’t afford to stay. Any contribution helps me stay enrolled, continue pursuing my degree, and remain part of the community that has already shaped me in so many ways. Your support would mean the world to me!
