Chris Dunn’s journey is a testament to resilience and faith. At just 16 years old, he suffered a spinal cord injury but made a full recovery, building a life for himself, getting married, and creating a family. Then, at 32, a tree limb fell and changed everything in an instant. Chris endured a second spinal cord injury—T8 and T12 fractures, T10-L2 decompression, a broken shoulder, and broken ribs. After a nine-hour surgery, and less than three weeks later, he walked back into his family's home.
Faith has led his family through this difficult time. God has spoken to them directly and indirectly, through the countless people who have helped: family, friends, doctors, nurses, therapists, and even strangers. In a world that often feels chaotic, they have seen so much good. Chris has a long recovery ahead, and much is still uncertain, but one thing is certain—they will keep going.
The funds raised will help cover medical bills and provide support for Chris, his wife, and two children while he recovers. Since he is not eligible for disability or unemployment any donation will help. Chris's family would be so grateful during this difficult time.
