This is "Gloria" my 1966 six-cylinder Mustang. Recently the cylinder head cracked and it is leaving me with an expensive repair bill.

I have maintained her well since receiving her as a birthday/Christmas gift over 20 years ago. I had body and paint work done, the engine rebuilt and other repairs on her over the years.

I belong to several local car clubs and it is always a pleasure to take her out to events. As a gift from my parents, I think of their love for me in getting my dream car, whenever I'm driving her.

My husband had lost his job several months ago due to government cuts and has only recently become employed again. This left us behind on bills and our mortgage, and the bank will not give us a loan because of poor credit.

I'm asking fellow car lovers and enthusiasts to consider helping me by donating to the repair bill. Please help me keep her on the road.
