Keep Girls Smiling and in School in Kenya!

This is us - Rob and Molly - The Biscuit Factory. We've been filming in Africa for two decades.
We've learned that school in many places in Africa isn't free. Many families struggle to provide basic necessities such as food and shelter, let alone pay for school fees and supplies. When faced with a choice, it's the boy children who go to school. On a macro level, educating girls has been proven to have a hugely positive impact - economic growth, improved health, and social stability. It feels overwhelming - and of course you can't help everyone, but we've figured out we can help more than we would have thought - sending girls to school, one girl at a time.
Here's a link with the whole history of our project: https://gofund.me/0c09f32c
We focus on the neediest cases - orphans, girls living with HIV, disabled, blind, girls with enormous school debts built up who will have to leave school if they aren't paid - and medical students.
Kenya has a doctor shortage and very few female doctors. The girls whose tuition, travel and supplies we fund want to return to their villages to provide medical care for women.
The small things also make a big difference - shoes, uniforms, school supplies and sanitary supplies.
We are actively funding the project, but it is a bit overwhelmingly successful! We'd love it if you would consider supporting these girls - changing lives -concretely improving the world we live in.
We'd also be happy to hear your feedback - if there are details or information you think it would be effective to share (our google drive full of receipts for maxi pads perhaps :) - or if you know an angel who might want to fund us with a lump sum that could ensure the future of the project for a solid duration of time. Everything we do is volunteer-based, with zero overhead, both in the US and in Kenya - we all just want to help the girls.
And by all means, if you contribute and you find yourself in Kisumu, Kenya let us arrange a meeting with our girls and our project Manager Jared - they would love to thank you in person!
Oh, and we're working on becoming a "real" non profit - here's a sneak peek at our logo:
Thank you!!!
