Like many performing arts groups, Eastbourne Gilbert & Sullivan society has been impacted by the Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions. We have been unable to stage our annual production, or perform at events which generate revenue for us. We are a registered charity with the mission of keeping the great British tradition of Gilbert & Sullivan alive, and we pride ourselves on our inclusive membership.
During the past few months, we've organised virtual events for members, with the aim of reducing isolation amongst our older and more vulnerable members. This has culminated in a virtual pantomime, written especially for our society, which we have recorded via zoom over the winter.
We hope that those who have enjoyed watching the pantomime will consider donating what you can to help keep the society afloat in these difficult times.
