Keep Forest Strong: Support For Family And Car Needs
Donation protected
My family and I are asking for help. Our son forest is back in the ICU at Norton’s children’s hospital heavily sedated due to his Campomelic Dysplasia. It’s a genetic disorder due to an error in the SOX 9 gene. Campomelic dysplasia affects the long bones, and causes floppy airway which results in respiratory failure. They’re discussing a tracheostomy in the coming weeks because his lungs keep collapsing once he gets upset, the tracheostomy is nothing more than a bypass to keep him alive. We’re at a lost!
Forest was born September 6, 24 he is going on 4 months old and has so much fight in him.
My sweet boy shouldn’t have to fight so hard. Forest has only been able to be home with his two sisters, daddy and me for no less than 2 weeks.
My sweet innocent boy has suffered respiratory failure over 20x. My brave boy has also suffered cardiac arrest 2x.
Please share to support my son in his fight against Campomelic Dysplasia ️
