By now if you’ve been following my account you know about Finn, his care, and his journey.

We found Finn as a stray kitten living around a car lot. He was only about 8½ weeks old when we brought him home, and he was already dealing with a pretty bad eye infection and respiratory issues. We honestly thought that with some antibiotics and time, he would get better. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been that simple.

Finn has been sick on and off since we found him. He’s had multiple vet visits, medications, testing, and an emergency visit when he developed a fever of 104.7°. There have been days where he seems completely fine, playing, eating, purring and acting like a normal kitten, and then his symptoms come back. We’ve continued taking him to the vet and trying different treatments to figure out what’s going on. We’ve also had to pay for additional testing and imaging to look for an underlying cause.

At this point, we’ve spent a lot more on his care than we ever expected to, and there are still veterinary expenses ahead of us. I’m starting this fundraiser to help cover some of what we’ve already spent and help cover his ongoing care. I don’t expect anyone to donate, and I know everyone has their own expenses. Even sharing this would help us a lot.

Finn is such a sweet little guy, and despite everything, he is still happy, playful and full of personality. We just want to be able to keep getting him the care he needs without the financial side becoming impossible for us.
