On March 14th 2019, God blessed our family with a beautiful baby boy, Adonis Jo'el Pyles! At 4lbs, 12oz, 18 and half inches he seemed to be just small but healthy and strong. That quickly changed 12 hours later. Doctors wanted to take him to the NICU to just monitor his breathing, unfortunately, it was much worse! They informed us that he had an infection but weren't quite sure what that was. It turned out to be Group B Strep that rapidly became septic. His doctor at St. Joseph made a decision after only a day that he needed to go to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.      They flew Adonis out on Sunday the 17th and his mom and I followed suite when a close friend of the family rented a car to get us there to be with our son. Upon arrival, they quickly began treating the infection with two different antibiotics while having him on a ventilator as well as paralyzing and completely sadating him! (Amongst other meds.)      So it's a week later (3/20/19) and he's been through the worst of it thus far, it's up to him to fight, fight, fight!!!       As any parent wouldn't I don't want to be away from my son and wife during this trying time.  However, we have other kids and responsibilities that also need to be tended to.  That puts me in the position to where I must travel frequently between both places to keep balance.      Adonis unfortunately won't be leaving any time soon...we ask for your prayers & funding /donation of any amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated...We would also like to thank those who have contributed with they're prayers, time and money already.
