Meet Kai Marley De Leon- 

Kai recently turned 7 months old and was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive cancerous tumor called an Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, or ATRT. Kai’s balance and movement regressed shortly after his 6 month checkup which lead to a CT scan locating a tumor on his cerebellum.

He underwent emergency brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible, but suffered multiple seizures and a stroke in the aftermath. It has been absolutely devastating for his parents, Chase and Melissa, to go through.

They have had glimmers of hope as his motor skills and eye contact have shown slight improvement but each day has brought more uncertainty and they spend every moment with him hoping for good news.

Your sharing of this story and contribution can help ensure that Chase and Melissa have the funds necessary  for the treatment that Kai will need. This will likely include a combination of chemotherapy, radiation and further surgeries and rehabilitation .

All funds raised will go directly to Chase, Melissa and Kai’s big brother Cruz for Kai’s ongoing care and recovery. Any unused funds will go towards the fight against ATRT.
