Keep Fighting Evan Fundraiser

This Go Fund Me for the family of my very dear friend Samantha who is a mother of 15-year-old freshmen at Pinson Valley High School in Pinson, Alabama. On Saturday April 19, 2025, while at a baseball tryout, her son, Evan Tucker, suffered a cardiac arrest. Two moms who were at the tryout began CPR that kept Evan alive until the paramedics arrived. Evan was rushed to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Not knowing why this happened nor what damage Evan experienced he was placed in a medically induced coma at Children’s Hospital to minimize the potential brain damage (after a period of low/no oxygen).

As a mother, it is heartbreaking to see my extremely hard-working friend, Sam, go through such a very difficult time. This family has endured so much & yet they are the kindest most generous family. Evan is a very kind, respectful, funny, good-natured Christian young man. I can personally vouch for Evan and I look forward to watching Evan continue to grow into the good man that I know he will become.

While Evan’s medical status has been improving, we all know that the cost of critical care can be crushing to a family. This family has already had significant tragedy when Evan’s father, Eddie, suffered a stroke 8 years ago that that left him permanently disabled. Yet despite all they have endured all three Tucker children are kind & generous & a loving light to all they encounter.

I am opening this GoFundMe for my friend and her family to offset the tremendous medical bills that will soon be on their way with a goal of $30,000.
