Keep Fernando's Music Alive: Donate Now For His Legal Fees.

Dear Friends and Supporters,
I’m reaching out on behalf of Fernando López Flores, a beloved concert pianist, ballroom dance instructor, and graduate student at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). Over the years, Fernando has made extraordinary contributions to this community and to the world. From providing more than 3,000 free, virtual concerts through the “Music to Breathe” program for healthcare workers and COVID-19 patients in 55 countries, to his work as the music director at Peace Lutheran Church in Naples, he has spent countless hours enriching the lives of others and helping those in need.
But now, despite all of his dedication and service, Fernando is facing an unjust and heartbreaking situation. After years of being a positive and productive member of society, he has been informed that he must leave the United States. The reason?
Due to an issue with his student visa, he is being required to pay $9,000 in legal fees, and $3,000 in processing fees to remain here or face immediate deportation to Bolivia—fees he simply cannot afford.
It’s hard to imagine how someone who has given so much to our country could be told they must leave. Fernando’s passion for music, teaching, and giving back to others has touched countless lives, and it is deeply unfair that he is now being forced to face such an overwhelming financial burden.
This is where we need your help.
We are asking for your support to help cover Fernando’s legal fees so he can stay in the country that he has come to love and continue his important work. Every dollar will go directly toward his legal costs, and your generosity will ensure that Fernando can remain with his community and continue to inspire and help those around him.
Please consider donating what you can to this cause. No contribution is too small—every bit helps. If you’re unable to donate, we would be so grateful if you could share this campaign with your friends, family, and community.
Fernando has dedicated his life to giving back to others, and now, in his time of need, he is asking for your help. Let’s show him the same kindness and support he’s shown to so many.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
Sincerely,
Alex and Yuriy
