I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Trina—a selfless woman who has dedicated her life to rescuing and caring for homeless animals—and her beloved dog, Eugene. Over the years, Trina has fostered more than 75 dogs, giving them the safety, compassion, and second chances they deserve. Most recently, she opened her heart and home to Eugene, a 10-year-old pup rescued from a life of neglect.

Shortly after his rescue, Eugene began developing painful skin allergies. Despite Trina’s relentless efforts to help—countless treatments and diet changes—they still haven’t been able to identify the source of his suffering. What’s clear now is that Eugene needs to see a specialist and may require costly medical care to finally get the relief he deserves.

This unexpected medical emergency has placed a financial strain on Trina, and she’s now facing an unthinkable decision: parting ways with the dog she saved and who loves her unconditionally. After everything Eugene has endured, losing the comfort and love of his forever home would be heartbreaking—for both him and Trina.
