Support Driftwood Lavender Farm!

I am overwhelmed by the messages from everyone asking what you can do to help this situation.

There are a few different options....

1) Donate to cover the rising cost of fighting the unfair amendments.

2) Attend a Lake Township Board meeting to show support.

3) Visit the farm!

This gofundme account has been set up to help Mark and Alicia pay for the growing cost of amending the current Lake Township ordinances which are unfairly hindering the success of this small family farm.

One such ordinance 2022-2 section 4f specifically states that Driftwood Lavender cannot hold any "special events" or "planned gatherings". (This includes banning our Friday Yoga in the Lavender classes!) This amended ordinance has severely limited a revenue source for this small family farm as well as potential vendors, event facilitators, class teachers and entertainers.

This GoFundMe is being created to help cover legal fees, consulting costs, and other expenses related to challenging or seeking amendments to this ordinance - so that Mark and Alicia can continue doing what they love: growing lavender and sharing it with the community.
