Douglas Fairley died this past Sunday at the age of 64, and this fundraiser is for his son, Chris Custer, and their family. Doug spent his life working hard for his family and for a dream he shared with Chris: to race together. Just two weeks after acquiring a race car, Doug was diagnosed with bone and lung cancer. He lost his battle only three months later.

Now Chris and the family are facing medical bills after Doug's illness and passing. On top of this devastating loss, they are at risk of having to sell Doug and Chris's cars to cover those bills. That would mean losing something Doug worked so hard for and a dream that meant so much to both father and son.
