Help Us Honor the Life and Legacy of Dominic Paul Maron Ferrell

It is with broken hearts and enduring love that we share the tragic loss of Dominic Paul Maron Ferrell, a bright, kind, and compassionate young man who was taken from us far too soon at the age of 17. Dominic’s time with us, though brief, left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him—his family, friends, classmates, and teachers.

To honor Dominic’s memory and keep his spirit alive, we are establishing The Dominic Paul Maron Ferrell Memorial Fund. This foundation will provide annual awards and scholarships to students who exemplify the same kindness, curiosity, and determination that Dominic showed during his life.

These awards will be given to students at:

Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School, where Dominic attended 8th grade after moving to Miami

Immaculata-La Salle High School, where he continued his journey through 9th and 10th grade

Miami Beach Senior High School, where he attended 11th grade

And through the Knights Legacy Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth leadership and service

Within the Knights Legacy Fund, the highest scholarship offered will be named the Dominic Ferrell Award, honoring a student who most reflects Dominic’s spirit of compassion, leadership, and resilience.

Dominic’s foundation will recognize students who, like him, approach life with empathy, generosity, and strength of character. Through this effort, we hope to build a legacy that reflects who Dominic was—and ensure that his name continues to inspire hope, growth, and kindness in others.
