Please Help Keep D'hana Housed During Her Housing Transition

Hi friends. After some deep thought and soul searching and with the encouragement of my friends, I have decided to ask for help. I absolutely hate doing this. It's very humbling and humiliating for me to do this, but I'm at the end of my rope.

As you know, my partner and best friend, Nina, passed away this last January. It has literally been the worst year of my life. I was also financially dependent on her as well.

Her sister has graciously paid my rent (out of Nina's inheritance) up until now. I will be forever grateful to her for helping me until I can find suitable, safe housing. Unfortunately, the money has run out and I still don't have safe, affordable housing as of yet.

I am asking for donations to help to either keep me housed where I'm currently residing to give me more time to find housing, or, if I find housing in the immediate future that is temporary, to help with move in costs and storage fees for my furniture and personal belongings, until I get set up with permanent housing. I have a whole apartment full of furniture that I don't want to lose if possible.

I have applied to several upon several lotteries and waiting lists, including Section 8. So now its just a waiting game until one of my lotteries come through.

Please don't feel bad if you're unable to donate right now. If you can share this publicly or via DM to someone who might be in a position to help, that would be very helpful and appreciated.

As far as temporary housing, I can afford up to $800/month with my current retirement income. If anybody has any information regarding this (leads, etc), please pass it along to me. Like I said, I have a house full of very nice furniture that will have to go into storage until I find permanent housing. I'm guessing storage will run me around $300?
