Hi friends. After some deep thought and soul searching and with the encouragement of my friends, I have decided to ask for help.

UPDATE:

I have found a place to live in Oakland. I will be sharing a house with 6 other roommates. I'm so blessed to have found this place. Most of the house mates are involved in music in one way or another, so that's a HUGE plus.

Now, I am asking for help with move in costs, as well as moving costs (hiring movers to help me move or truck rental), and storage fees for my furniture and personal belongings. I also need to purchase a small refrigerator for my room. The kitchen refrigerator isn't big enough to hold everyone's food.

ITEMIZED LISTS OF NEEDS:

1st month's rent and deposit: $1300 (covered)

To hold my room for October: $250

Extra rent here for the 1st & 2nd of November: $300

Possible storage fees: $300/month

Moving costs (movers): $1000

Refrigerator: $50-$200

Love Seat cleaning (scheduled for 10/22): $250

At this time I consider my new home temporary. I have applied to several upon several lotteries and waiting lists, including Section 8. So now its just a waiting game until one of my lotteries come through.
