Hello everyone,

My name is Nati , and I’m reaching out during a very difficult season in my life. For the past several months I’ve been unemployed, about five to six months now, and unfortunately I haven’t been able to receive unemployment benefits. I previously worked for the federal government, but as many know, these last few years have been unpredictable with furloughs/ Layoffs, instability, and challenges that so many of us are facing together.

I’m doing my best to keep moving forward, applying for full time work and taking on gig jobs in the meantime, but right now I’ve fallen behind on some of the essentials. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering rent, back payments on my car that I rely on to get to and from work opportunities, groceries, and medical care for my cat Dexter who has been my companion and comfort through all of this.

My goal is to raise $14,000 or more to catch up on overdue bills and avoid losing the stability I’ve worked so hard to build. This support would give me the breathing room I need to continue applying and interviewing for full time employment without the fear of losing my home or transportation.
