This summer has been quite a rough one financially for our family. We are hoping to keep things as normal as possible for our daughters while we figure out what to do next. As many of you know, they are beautiful and passionate dancers, who have so much potential. Regrettably, we have had to put paying for dance on hold completely until things take a turn for the better. We also have already paid the enrollment fees for them to continue with our local Classical Conversations co-op and have previously purchased all the materials for their schooling for next year. Unfortunately, we won't be able to follow through with their school program at this point because we cannot pay the tuition, which is around $800 a student, per semester.

All of this happened very suddenly and without warning, otherwise we would have made different arrangements.

Besides cutting anything and everything that isn't necessary, we are taking several other steps to make ends meet. Nicole has been teaching dance classes part-time and has several applications out for other jobs in our area. Josie, who is only 15, is working regularly at Chick-fil-A making minimum wage. We know that things will work out eventually. It's just going to be a rough year.

We are ever aware of the financial difficulties people throughout the world are facing right now. We've always remained extremely grateful for the abundance we have been granted throughout our lives. While we have been gifted money from our parents in the past, for moving expenses, or to help with other unexpected things, we have never had to ask for donations; somehow we have miraculously always made it work. As parents, it has been an important goal of ours to instill in our daughters the virtue of being generous givers. We have always tried to demonstrate this by being benevolent contributors to those in need; giving of our time, money, and resources whenever possible. But, we are totally tapped right now.

We would be so very appreciative of whatever small amount you might feel lead to contribute for our daughters to continue their ballet education and help pay for the remaining costs of their school program which we've already partially paid and prepared for.
