Darin has been in and out of the hospital since September of 2020. After a serious of very thorough interviews, he has been officially approved for a heart transplant as of February 26th! Doctors say he is an excellent candidate for the surgery. Until then, they are expecting ups and downs, hospital visits, several doctor appointments and lots of support from his family and friends. Mendy has been working around the clock to support Darin and keep a full time job. Any funds raised are helping pay for medical bills, medicine, and care before and after the transplant. Thank you so much for your support!
Our sarcastic, dark humored, talented, hard working friend has been fighting serious health complications for the past several years. The last few months has been the biggest fight for his life. The current state of his body prevents him from sleeping, working, eating, and being able to heal itself. Between several trips to the ER, being admitted to the hospital, new respiratory equipment, home health care, etc. has left our friend looking for love and support.
Medical insurance hasn't covered all of the expenses needed to keep him alive. In addition, Darin hasn't been able to work over the last few months. His enduring wife, Mendy, is working full time and taking care of Darin around the clock. It's been exhausting!
Mendy has gone above and beyond to keep our buddy alive. Thankfully he's too stubborn to die. Join us in supporting Darin and Mendy through this difficult chapter in their lives.
