Hello! My name's Dan Hetrick, and I am an open-source software developer. My current project is MERK, an open-source Internet Relay Chat client for Windows and Linux. I was also the primary developer on Ərk, another IRC client. All the software I write is released under the GNU General Public License 3 and will always be free to everyone.

I have recently become unemployed, and the bills are piling up. I don't know how much longer I can keep a roof over my head, much less continue to work on software. I hate to ask, but I need help. I'm doing everything I can, and honestly, it just hasn't been good enough. If you can help me stay in my home and have some food every once in a while, I would greatly appreciate it.
