Our funny, witty, tenacious, kind, funky, and incredibly scared Danika is facing homelessness.

Danika's rental home is being sold and she cannot find a place to live in the Bellingham area. HOUSING IS SCARCE. She's BLIND and uses her guide dog, Bunny to facilitate her independence.

She has until July 31st to be out and has nowhere to go. The 31st also happens to be her 50th birthday.

She's found temporary housing in a motel that will allow her dogs. This money is to pay for the motel and maybe, just maybe ease her burden with all the upfront costs when she does find her place.

Did I mention she is BLIND? Holy smokes. Homelessness is terrifying. Homelessness without sight is unbearable.
