Dad (Mick) is 63 years young & was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in the chest lymph nodes in October 2024. In the last 2 months he has also suffered multiple strokes, initially losing his ability to speak, read and write, which he regained through intensive in-patient therapy. 3 years ago he was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer which he beat with chemo & radiation. Now the cancer has returned his treatment options are very limited, and his cancer is no longer curable. I'm not ready to lose my beautiful Dad, and my son Elias isn't ready to lose his cheeky Poppy.

There are alternative and supplementary treatments and medicines that can help prolong dads life a little longer, but of course these aren't free. Dad has been unable to work since his initial stroke in July, and as he was casual he has no income. I have been juggling full time work whilst caring for dad, but we would greatly appreciate any help from our community.
