Curley Johnson Hill and her son, Ernest, Jr., dreamed of owning and operating a business together. Curley worked for over 30 years at Bellsouth while Ernest served in the Army and Army Reserve, working to finance their business. Their hard work paid off and in 1991, Curley's Restaurant opened for business in the heart of Opa-Locka, Florida. Since then, Curley's has become an icon of the community, serving over 1,000 meals a week.
Curley's offers delicious and affordable meals to people from all walks of life and even in the midst of a pandemic, Curley's continued to serve its loyal customers. Now, Curley's is in jeopardy of being shut down. A new Miami-Dade County ordinance is requiring Curley's to make extensive upgrades and renovations to meet various codes.
Curley's needs your help. Your donation will go directly to upgrading the infrastructure of Curley's Restaurant. No donation is too small and every cent counts. Keep Curley's Open!
Thank you for your support and God bless!
