On August 25, 2024, our family member, Crimea Baker, was tragically murdered in her home with her four children present in the house. Crimea had sole legal and physical custody of her four children at the time of her death.

Unfortunately, Crimea's family has not been able to begin processing this tremendous loss because they have to fight for the custody of her four young children. Given the complexities of custody cases of this nature, we anticipate this will be a long and expensive fight. This fund will allow Crimea's family to keep her four children with their family. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

This fund is being created to help Crimea's mother and father fight for custody of her four children. As next of kin to Crimea, this is the only fund that is being authorized by her family and will be used to continue paying for the attorney that was hired, as well as the continuing care and the needs of the children in the immediate future.
