Corelyn has done so much for so many in Lincolnville and the broader community, and now its time for us to help her stay here.
Corelyn is the type of resident every town hopes to have and even if you don't know her personally, it's highly likely she has touched your life in some way. She works with disabled children, she takes thousands of photos of local wildlife with a network of trail cams and shares them for all to enjoy from our homes, she researches local deeds and historical documents to keep us attached to our past, and even finds time to volunteer to count votes during election time. She does all this at an age that some of us would prefer to stay home and complain.
Many of you know all about Corelyn, but if you don't, it's worth reading this wonderful article by Diane O'brien: One Determined Woman

Corelyn has kept this pace until recently when cancer (many surgeries and radiation), the pandemic, and a spine disease have hit her pocketbook and health. She lost her job working with disabled children due to the pandemic and lost the ability to stand for long periods to work with active children.
At this point, Corelyn has no choice but to move to Kentucky and live with her daughter (who is wonderful) but we all want her to stay here in the community that she loves and with her long term friends in our town. Corelyn wants to stay and many of us cannot imagine Lincolnville without her.
Please help out if you can. Corelyn is not the sort to ask for help but many of you have asked what you can do to help her continue in Lincolnville. All funds will be used to help Corelyn get through this stretch.
