Hello everyone, a few months ago, our cat, Cooper, started making noises while breathing. After many vet appointments, x-rays, antibiotics, blood work, blood work again, etc., with no answers, we decided to see a specialist.

The vet reviewed everything and decided the next course of action would be to perform a rhinoscopy/laryngoscopy and a CT scan so they can see what is going on internally. We were given an estimate of the cost at $6,300 just for the diagnostics.

Hannah and I had a cat pass away 7 months ago from a traumatic (and expensive) bout with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia. If we are unable to get this procedure, we could end up having to put down our second cat in a year, which would be heartbreaking.

I have picked up an extra job to try to make ends meet, while Hannah is in nursing school and only able to work part-time. We hate to ask for help, but have been drained by vet bills in this past year.

Cooper is stable at this time, but struggles to breathe at times. This could continue to get worse if it is a polyp, tumor, or something else and we are unable to figure it out soon.
