Hello Everybody,

Your friendly neighborhood ice cream shop could really use some help!

This October, our business turned 15. As of right now, it is unlikely we will be around for another year.

In July of 2024, a major equipment failure forced us to close temporarily. We lost crucial summer income that has put the shop in a precarious financial position. We've exhausted our personal savings to help Cloud City survive the past two seasons-it's been the most stressful period in our existence.

In hindsight, I wish we had considered a crowdfunding campaign as soon as we realized the business needed help, but I have a really tough time asking for it.

So far, we've explored numerous loan options, and the only ones currently available aren't sustainable in the long term. Many of the employees and customers I've spoken with have encouraged us to try crowdfunding before closing, so here we are. We'd have to raise at least $60k to get the business back on track, so it's not a small ask.

If you feel like we are worth fighting for, we would be honored to continue playing a part in our amazing community for more years to come, and serve many generations of the Woodstock neighborhood.
